Elecar was founded in 2014 launching Scotland’s first full electric chauffeur service in 2015 with our first fully licensed electric taxi arriving in 2016. Thanks to our reviews from our many kind Customers in 2017 we became rated number one for transport in our area on Tripadvisor. In 2018 we started to invest in charging infrastructure not just for our own use but to help promote electric cars in the Fort William area. In 2019 we were excited to take delivery of our two new 300 mile range electric cars that we use for local Taxis, tours & long distance transfers throughout the country. 2020 We launched this new website i hope you like it……..

Great taxi firm
EWTG1We used them several times during our stay in Fort William.
They always arrived before time, the cars were immaculate and the drivers polite and helpful.
Plus of course you can get to ride in a Tesla.
All cars are electric so you are helping the environment as well.
Excellent Electrically powered guided tourWe hired Scott and his Telsa Model S for a days guided tour. Scott made plenty of suggestions as to an itinerary before the day and on the day modified our route according to our wishes at the time. He was a good guide, we enjoyed the demonstrations of his car (he is clearly an enthusiast and has converted us to electric cars!) and it’s capabilities. His commentary and the information he gave on our 180 mile circuit were really interesting and contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable adventure. At the end of an enjoyable day he dropped us off at his recommended restaurant, where we had the best meal in our week at Fort William before picking us up again and dropping us tired and full back at our guest house. Next time we go to Fort William we will use Elecar.

Elecar is Superb
We hired Elecar for our transportation needs through out Scotland and could not have been more satisfied. We decided not to rent a car but rather depend on elecar so we could relax and sightsee from Edinburgh, around the highlands, to Fort William and then up and around Skye. Touring the highlands via Tesla chauffeur is the way to go. Request Scott as your driver and you will not be disappointed.
